Essentials (Editing + Formatting +)

Includes Content Editing (with Line Editing), Proofreading, Full-Service Formatting (print), Basic Copyright Page, and Extended Copyright Page (Scriptures).

A high-level review of your manuscript to assess structure, pacing, clarity, and cohesion. Includes feedback on overall flow, plot and character development (for fiction), chapter organization, and suggestions for improving pacing, flow, and reader engagement.

Paragraph- and sentence-level editing to enhance clarity, tone, and flow. Includes reworking awkward phrasing, clarifying ideas, and preserving the author's voice while strengthening communication. Focuses on sentence structure and cohesion at the paragraph level.

A final review to identify and correct surface-level issues such as grammar, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and typographical consistency.

Custom interior layout for black-and-white, text-only books. Includes page sizing, margins, spacing, headers/footers, page numbers, and optional Table of Contents. Does not include indexing, color interior, or image placement.

Upgrade option to Full-Service Formatting for full-color interior books, including color styling of headings and other design elements. Graphics and photos must be provided separately and quoted accordingly. This is an add-on service and is not sold as a standalone product unless you have a completely formatted, black-and-white final file that you only need color added to.

Conversion of finished, formatted, print-ready manuscript to Kindle-ready KPF or EPUB format, with a review to ensure acceptable formatting.

Basic: Standard copyright page including legal disclaimers, ISBN information, edition, and publishing info. 

Extended: Includes required clauses for attribution to quoted Bible versions.

Insertion of citations, footnotes, or endnotes where necessary. Author is responsible for supplying source references. Includes formatting and verification of basic citation structure.

Manual creation of a back-of-book index based on key terms and topics in the manuscript. Includes formatting and alphabetization. Key terms may be supplied by author or curated by editor, per the author’s preference.

Placement of full-page images or graphics throughout the book. Includes formatting for resolution, margins, and visual alignment. Priced in quantities of 10 images per unit. Author may purchase multiple units to meet the needs of the project.

Insertion of embedded graphics (charts, images, illustrations) within text. Includes cropping, resizing, and wrapping for professional layout. Priced in quantities of 10 images per unit. Author may purchase multiple units to meet the needs of the project.

Stylized placement of callouts (quotes or excerpt blurbs) throughout the manuscript to highlight key points. Author may supply content or editor may suggest based on manuscript. Up to 10 blurbs per unit. Author may purchase multiple units to meet the needs of the project.

Repeated placement of a single decorative symbol at key locations like chapter openers or section breaks to add visual polish. Must be the same symbol placed throughout to qualify for listed pricing. Examples of token symbols might be a feather, star, or emblem, or a symbol mirroring an image on the cover design.

Simple front, back, and spine layout using provided title/subtitle and back cover content. Ideal for clean, professional presentation. Not intended as full graphic design or custom illustration.

Support in registering your book with the U.S. Copyright Office. Includes account setup (if needed) and guided submission or done-for-you submission (author will still have to electronically certify the submission). Does not include fee for registration, which is paid directly to the Copyright Office.

Assistance creating and configuring your Amazon KDP account, setting up the book listing in your Bookshelf, obtaining a free ISBN (if desired), uploading files, and choosing pricing and publishing options. Available for print, eBook, or both. Does not include cost of printed proofs (if desired), which is paid directly to Amazon.
