Package includes:

• Developmental Editing:

  • Helping with the "big picture" organization of your manuscript.

  • Evaluating plot, pace, character development, etc.

  • Looking for high-level ways to make the content flow together more naturally (examples: reorganizing chapters, combining redundant sections, expounding on areas where needed).

• Content Editing (& Line Editing):

  • Revising & editing for organization, clarity, & flow (more nitty gritty on the sentence and paragraph level as opposed to the big picture level).

  • Looking for better ways to say what you're saying, while working with you to make sure your intended meaning is coming across.

  • Reworking sentences that could be confusing or could lead to a misinterpretation of your intended meaning.

  • Ensuring the text reads in the voice and tone the author intended.

  • Reorganizing and restructuring sentences.

• Proofreading:

  • Reviewing manuscript for all errors and inconsistencies in mechanics (grammar, spelling, punctuation, and capitalization).

• Citation Assistance:

  • Identifying where citations/references are necessary in order to attribute credit to other works you have quoted.

  • Inserting footnotes and/or endnotes into your manuscript.

  • Ensuring each source is credited adequately.

  • *Note: The author's assistance is required in gathering and identifying sources used.

• Creation of Basic Copyright Page:

  • Preparing your book's copyright page.

• Expanded Copyright Page (if applicable):

  • For authors who frequently reference Scripture, the expanded copyright page will include required attributions to various translations/versions of the Bible.

• Full-Service Formatting:

  • Formatting all aspects of your book's interior, including:

  • Setting page size, margins, and gutters according to your printer's/publisher's specifications.

  • Adding page numbers throughout.

  • Adding page headers throughout.

  • Adding a Table of Contents (if desired).

  • (Does not include the addition of an index; please see our Special Add-Ons for this option).

• Copyright Registration Assistance:

  • Assisting you with the creation of your U.S. Copyright Office account (if you do not already have one).

  • Assisting (either by walking you through the process or by accessing your account, whichever you prefer) with preparing your copyright registration submission.

  • (Does not include the registration fee, which is payable directly to the U.S. Copyright Office at the time of submission).

• Amazon KDP Setup for Print (if desired):

  • Assisting you with the creation and setup of your Amazon KDP author account (if you do not already have one).

  • Assisting (either by walking you through the process or by accessing your account, whichever you prefer) with preparing your book for paperback or hardcover publication.

  • Assisting you with selecting options for pricing and publishing on Amazon.

• Amazon KDP Setup for eBook (if desired):

  • Assisting you with the creation and setup of your Amazon KDP author account (if you do not already have one).

  • Assisting (either by walking you through the process or by accessing your account, whichever you prefer) with preparing your book for eBook publication (Kindle) through Amazon.

  • Assisting you with selecting options for pricing and publishing on Amazon.

• Kindle eBook File Creation:

  • Converting your finished manuscript to an appropriate file format (KPF or EPUB) required for publication with Kindle.

  • Reviewing converted file for acceptable formatting throughout.

  • If other file types are desired, please contact me prior to placing your order.

• Basic Cover Design (if desired):

  • Creating a basic cover design for the front and back covers and spine.

  • (I am not a full-service graphic designer; if you are very particular about the design of your cover, you will likely prefer to hire a graphic designer for this portion of the project).

Important Notes:

• Listed pricing is based on black-and-white, text-only interiors. If your book includes full-color pages, graphics, or photos, please view our Specialty Add-Ons collection to price these upgrades. Please also note that color interiors typically result in much higher print costs through most publishing platforms.

• I do not accept manuscripts containing profanity, vulgarity, or morally objectionable material, including but not limited to adult fiction.

• I reserve the right to respectfully decline any manuscript for any or no expressed reason.

• My availability is limited. If you are working within a specific deadline, please reach out before booking. I can often accommodate tight turnarounds with advance notice.
